Sylvie Naar, PhD, LP

CTBScience Founder and Director; Distinguished Endowed Professor; Young Adult Health Program Director

Sylvie Naar, PhD, LP, is a Distinguished Endowed Professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine's Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine. Dr. Naar is the Director of the Center for Translational Behavioral Science and Director of the FSU Clinical and Translational Science Award. She is a clinical researcher with more than two decades of experience across the spectrum of intervention research, from early trials translating behavioral science into new interventions to randomized clinical trials, comparative effectiveness, and implementation.

Jonathan Morgan

SIU Florida Program Administrator

Jonathan oversees programmatic initiatives and community engagement coordination for SIU Florida. He works closely with Dr. Sylvie Naar related to community engagement on the SHARE Program's Community Engagement Core. Jonathan graduated from Indidana Wesleyan University with his Bachelor's in Psychology, along with a minor in intercultural studies. He is an avid suporter for people with HIV. He is part of several local and statewide groups that help address health disparities and stigma around HIV. 


Support Services Coordinator

Kristina Drayton, MSW

SIU Florida Support Services Coordinator

Kristina Drayton serves as Support Services Coordinator for Scale It Up Florida, where she co-facilitates Motivational Interviewing (MI) trainings for the community and leads the FLEX Peer Support Program. This program engages and supports youth and emerging adults while assisting them get connected to services such as primary care, HIV care, housing, mental health services, and more.

Kristina is a first-generation graduate of Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and her Master of Social Work (MSW). She has always been passionate about social work and is deeply committed to supporting underserved and vulnerable populations. As the eldest of seven, Kristina strives to be a strong role model for her siblings and community.

In her free time, she enjoys engaging in self-care activities such as going to the gym and spending time with family and friends. Kristina also serves as a Lead Community Research Coordinator for the FSU TrustScience initiative under the CTSA, where she supports community engagement efforts to build trust between researchers and the overall community. 


Outreach Coordinator

Isaac Richardson, MSW

SIU Florida Program Outreach Coordinator

Isaac graduated from Florida State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and in 2023 with a Master of Social Work. He previously worked as a high school social worker and as a lab manager in a research lab within FSU’s Department of Psychology. Through these roles, he developed a strong passion for both community support and research.

At SIU Florida, Isaac brings these interests together in his role as an outreach coordinator, where he works to connect communities with meaningful resources and initiatives. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music.

Kayla Hicks, MPH

SHARE Program Lead Community Engagement Specialist 

Kayla received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Florida A&M University and her Master of Public Health form Florida State University. She currently serves as a research coordinator, primarily as part of the Community Engagement Core within Scale It Up Florida's SHARE P01 Project, where she works with emerging adults aged 18 to 29 with HIV and collaborates closely with community partners. In addition, through her role with the CTBS Research Development Core, Kayla supports investigators as a project manager on multiple research initiatives. She also serves as co-facilitator for Scale It Up Florida's monthly Tailored Motivational Interviewing workshop series. Kayla's work centers on advocating for advancing health literacy and expanding access to education to support improved public health outcomes across diverse populations. 


Community Engagement Specialist

Sharry Anne Solis, MPH

SHARE Program Community Engagement Specialist

Sharry holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and a Master of Public Health from the Florida State University.  Sharry is a researcher on the SIU Florida's SHARE Program (P01 Project), actively engaging with young adults aged 18 - 29 living with HIV/AIDS. Her professional interests lie in serving others, championing human rights, and fostering fair health opportunities for at-risk communities. In her free time, Sharry enjoys Star Wars, reading up on history, and spending time with her family and friends.
