Dr. Mia Liza Lustria is a Professor in the School of Information at Florida State University, and is the lead of the Center for Translational Behavioral Science's Technology Core. Dr. Lustria has nearly 20 years of health communication research experience, specifically in the areas of health informatics and persuasive technology. Dr. Lustris also holds a courtesy faculty appointment in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Social Medicine in the Florida State University College of Medicine and in the Florida State University College of Social Sciences and Public Policy. 

Dr. Lustria earned her Bachelors degree in Developmental Journalism and her Master's in Developmental Communication from the University of the Phillipines, and earned her PhD in Communication at the University of Kentucky.
