Dr Geraldine Martorella is an associate professor in the College of Nursing. Her program of research consists in developing and evaluating innovative non-pharmacological interventions for pain management and chronic pain prevention. The focus of her research has been on psychosocial factors of pain, the use of information technologies, and complementary and alternative therapies. She is currently a member of the American Psychological Association’s Guideline Development Panel for the Treatment of Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain in Adults.
