Brenda Echeverri Alvarado, MS
Brenda Echeverri Alvarado completed her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and master's degree in Experimental Psychology at Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan. Her research interests involve stress, emotion regulation, health behavior, and decision-making. While completing her graduate degree, she managed several research studies, including community-based interventions as well as projects related to trauma and emotional processes. Additionally, she worked as a behavior technician providing behavioral therapy to children diagnosed with autism. She currently works as the Lab Manager at the Center for Translational Behavioral Sciences in the Sleep Trauma and Emotional Processes (STEP) Program.
