Center Grants Specialist

Grace Sanders completed her bachelor's degree in Accounting at Flagler College Tallahassee in 2022 and is currently seeking a master's degree in Management Information Systems at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Grace first joined the Center for Translational Behavioral Science (CTBS) as a Peer Navigator, directly engaging with participants of Center studies and building her experience in research, IRB protocols, and project development. She has gained additional experience as the Scale It Up Florida Program Coordinator, building proficiency in FSU administrative policies and procedures, budgeting, travel coordination, etc. Years of experience with various teams, financial tasks, and research development prepared her to step into her current role as the Center's Grants Specialist. She assists with grant development, budgeting, compiling of subaward site documents, and ensuring a smooth submission process for the researchers at the Center. She also serves on the Center's Research Development Core, providing support to investigators in areas such as procedures and templates, regulatory, and contracts.
