Brenda Echeverri completed her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and master's degree in Psychology at Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan. Brenda has experience in research project planning, implementation, and management. She has a strong background in psychological and behavioral health research. While completing her graduate degree, she conducted and published her own research on emotional mechanisms underlying post-traumatic stress and disordered eating. More recently, Brenda completed a Program Evaluation graduate certificate at the Florida State University. Brenda is the Center Manager & Administrator at the Center for Translational Behavioral Science (CTBS), overseeing center-wide activities and initiatives as well as providing strategic operational support to CTBS teams by facilitating communications and collaborating with multiple departmental and academic teams and organizations. Brenda is also currently the project manager for the NIH-sponsored ORBIT Institute. Go to the ORBIT Institute's page for more information about the program.
